Copyright Complaints

Effective 16 September 2026 · Applies to YTMP3 at fixman.com.pl

YTMP3 stores no videos. There is no library here to browse and no file to take down. What can be blocked is the conversion of a specific video, and this page explains how to ask for that. A notice naming the video is enough — you do not need a lawyer to send one.

What blocking means on this site

YTMP3 does not host video. It fetches a video from YouTube when a visitor asks for it, and hands the result to that visitor's browser. Nothing is archived here afterwards.

So a complaint here does not remove a file — there is no file. What it can do is make the tool refuse to convert a particular video: the identifier is added to a block list, and any request for it is declined outright. That is the strongest thing this site is capable of doing, and it is done on request.

Where to send a notice

Send it to contact@fixman.com.pl with a subject line that makes the purpose obvious, such as "Copyright notice".

What a valid notice has to contain

  1. The video or videos concerned. A YouTube address, or better, the eleven-character video identifier from that address — the part after watch?v=. The identifier alone is unambiguous; a video title is not.
  2. The work you say is infringed. Name the film, track, broadcast or other work, and describe your connection to it.
  3. Your contact details. A name, a postal address if you have one, and an email address we can reply to.
  4. A statement of good faith. A sentence confirming that you believe the use complained of is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement of accuracy. A sentence confirming that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them.
  6. Your signature. A typed name is sufficient.

Notices that name a specific video and come from someone with a plausible connection to the work are acted on. Notices that arrive as bulk templates full of unrelated titles, or that make no attempt to identify the work, may be returned with a request for the missing detail.

What happens after you send it

A complete notice is reviewed, and where it is properly made the identifier is added to the block list. The video then fails to convert for everyone, with no explanation shown to the visitor beyond a failed conversion. You will get a reply confirming what was done.

Nothing about this is automated, and it is not immediate — but it is permanent unless we hear from you again.

Notices covering many videos

If you need a large number of identifiers blocked, send them as a plain list, one identifier per line. A list of identifiers is easier to action than a list of URLs, and much easier than a list of titles.

If the converter is being abused

If you believe somebody is using YTMP3 to infringe your rights systematically — rather than a single video appearing in a search — say so in the same email and describe the pattern. That is a different problem from one video and is treated as one.
