Privacy Policy
YTMP3 has no accounts, so it has no way to know who you are. Converting a video sends only the eleven-character video identifier to our relay — not the address you pasted, not your name, not your email. This page sets out the little that is recorded and why.
Who is responsible
YTMP3 (fixman.com.pl) is the controller for the small amount of data described below. For any question about this policy, or to exercise a right set out further down, write to contact@fixman.com.pl.
What is processed when you convert a video
- The video identifier. When you paste a link, your browser extracts the eleven-character ID. Only that identifier travels to our relay; the full address you copied stays in your browser. It is used to fetch the video and is not stored against you.
- Ordinary request data. Like any web service, our servers and those of our infrastructure provider record the fact that a request happened, along with technical details such as an IP address, a timestamp, and the browser's user-agent string. This is what any web server logs in order to operate and to defend itself against abuse.
- Aggregate counts. We count how many conversions start and in which format, so we can tell whether the service is working. These counters are totals, not records of individuals.
What is not collected
- No name, email address or telephone number — there is no form on this site that asks for one.
- No account, password or YouTube credentials. YTMP3 never asks you to sign in, here or at YouTube.
- No stored copy of the video you converted. The file is passed to your browser and not kept afterwards.
- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising networks are present on this site at all.
- No cross-site tracking profile. There is no marketing pixel and no social embed that would follow you elsewhere.
Third parties involved
Running this service necessarily involves other companies, and they are worth naming:
- Cloudflare serves the pages and hosts the relay that talks to the conversion service. Requests therefore pass through their network.
- The upstream conversion service receives the video identifier and performs the actual extraction. It is given no information about who asked.
- Aggregate analytics. If a privacy-respecting analytics service is used for visit counts, it is loaded from our own domain and does not use cookies to follow you between sites.
YTMP3 does not sell personal data, and does not share it for advertising. There is nothing of that kind here to sell.
Retention
Technical server logs are kept for a short period — typically days, not months — because that is how long they are useful for diagnosing faults and spotting abuse. Aggregate counters are kept longer but contain no personal detail. Nothing else described on this page is stored at all.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to its processing, or to complain to a supervisory authority. Because YTMP3 holds no account and no identity, in practice there is usually nothing to retrieve — but you are welcome to ask, and we will answer honestly about what exists.
Requests go to contact@fixman.com.pl.
Children
This site is not directed at children and is not designed for them. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided something to us, write and we will remove it.
Cookies and local storage
The converter itself does not set cookies. Anything a browser stores while you use the page stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Changes to this policy
If what this site does changes, this page changes with it, and the effective date at the top is updated. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date is the signal: if it has moved, the policy has.
Contact
Questions, corrections and rights requests all go to the same place: contact@fixman.com.pl. For copyright matters, the copyright page explains what to include.
